Chicago’s only Pearl loca­tion at Chicago Ave and Franklin, under the Chicago Brown line train is clos­ing it’s doors. The com­pany appar­ently has decided to close a num­ber of loca­tions around the coun­try. Chicago has a lim­ited num­ber of art sup­ply stores and a grow­ing num­ber of artists.  Pearl will be clos­ing it’s doors Jan­u­ary 31st. Every­thing in the store is 75% off so get it while it’s cheap!

I went yes­ter­day, the store is quite picked over, they are also get­ting rid of flat files, shelv­ing, and fur­ni­tre. If your int he mar­ket for such things, you may be able to get a sweet deal.
