His ambigu­ous images imply a sur­re­al­ist influ­ence. Fraught with nar­ra­tive, Dzama often uses the white­ness of the paper as a blank float­ing land­scape for his char­ac­ters. I love the sub­con­scious, dream-like qual­ity his draw­ings have.
